Images tell their own stories

One of my favorite hobbies is going to yard sales and auctions just to see what I can find for my personal collection of cameras, vinyl and video games. My interest in found photography started when I came across my first collection of slides at a local antique shop. I was amazed by the variety of beautiful shots that were being sold for $3 a box! The photos ranged from tropical and middle eastern vacations to locals in bars and at weddings. Not too long after finding that collection, I found another equally impressive collection at another antique store less than a mile away. This collection consisted of the images located in the China and Alaska and Canada pages.

From then on I kept running into slide projectors and boxes full of slides at yard sales. Until recently I didn’t know what to do with them all, I just knew loved looking at them. It only struck me recently to make my findings into an online gallery. Every image tells a story worth sharing with the world. Even damaged, severely out of focus or overexposed images deserve to be seen.
